Our transitional work program helps unemployed and underemployed Detroit residents grow in the dignity of work while building practical job and life skills. Crew members work under the guidance of skilled volunteer project leaders as they complete meaningful projects that serve others in the community.

Many are getting back on their feet or beginning their adult lives after facing significant obstacles. As they work, take on new challenges, and meet monthly with our case manager, they gain the support and experience needed to become employable for full-time work. They are climbing as they help others climb, building a better future for themselves and their families.
